Dr Damien Offner joined the University of Strasbourg (UDS) and the University Hospitals of Strasbourg (HUS) as an Associate Professor and Hospital Practitioner in 2017. He has been working for these two institutions since he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) in 2009 in Strasbourg. He achieved his PhD (Life and Health Sciences – odontologic sciences) in 2016.
His university subsection consists of public health, prevention, epidemiology, health economics, legal odontology, ethics and hygiene. His hospital practice is related to emergency dental procedures, coordination of dental care circuit, and social odontology. He is currently attached to the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM, France), and shares the research work being carried out in the group of Dr N. Benkirane-Jessel on regenerative nanomedicine (UMR 1260), especially in the fields of bone regenerative medicine, public health, ethics, epidemiology, hygiene and quality.
